Lupin, the Pot-Bellied Pig

Nyland Records' first CD includes works hailed as successors to Peter & the Wolf and consists of music to suit all ages. Introducing both adults and young people to the world of classical music the CD is an ideal addition to the revival of interest in English Light Music. |
Keith Amos' consistently memorable tunes and beautiful orchestrations make these narrated works a 'must' for family concerts and outreach programmes. With the success of The Steadfast Tin Soldier narrated by Richard Baker, with the BBC Philharmonic conducted by Yan Pascal Tortellier in 1993, and later broadcast on Radio 3 on Boxing Day, this was the first of the much performed narrated works.
Along with Lupin, the Pot-Bellied Pig and "Bah, Humbug!" (an adapation of Dickens' A Cristmas Carol) scores of performance have covered Europe & US and continue to captivate audiences.
Nyland Records has been launched to satisfy the demand for the music of Keith Amos and to celebrate the 21st anniversary of the founding of CMA Publications
